Professor Theodore E. (Ted) Zorn is Dean of Massey Business School and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Massey University in New Zealand.
His teaching and research specialty is organizational communication, organizational change processes, and enhancing workplace well-being. He has published widely in communication and management journals and has consulted with a wide range of companies, government organisations and not-for-profit organisations.
He has served on and chaired a variety of boards, mostly in the not-for-profit sector, and currently serves on the boards of ecentre, ALPP and the Westpac-Massey Financial Education & Research Centre.
Prior to coming to Massey University in early 2012, Prof Zorn was head of the Management Communication Department at Waikato University and, before that, was an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the USA.
He is past editor of the Journal Management Communication Quarterly, and a past recipient of the International Communication Association’s Frederic Jablin Award for Outstanding Contribution to Organizational Communication.
